Ealing Law Centre’s Housing team advises on;

  • suspending a warrant for eviction,
  • unlawful eviction for tenants attempting to regain entry to the property,
  • succession of secure tenancies,
  • housing related Anti Social Behaviour  injunctions and possession proceedings,
  • disrepair cases where there is a serious risk of harm to  health or safety of the individual or relevant member of their  family
  • cases where Council.  owes homelessness duties

Our Crisis Navigator works as part of the Anti-Poverty Unit on the Ealing Help through Crisis Project and attends Ealing Food bank and Brentford County Court on Duty days to provide immediate support and assistance to resolve the situation which is causing the hardship following which the navigator will work  with you on how to improve the the situation for you in the longer  term.

You can get advice and support from our Crisis Navigator at Brentford County Court. A member of our team will be available at the Court Duty Repossession Help desk  on Mondays and Fridays from 10.00 am.

Our staff negotiate with landlords, housing authorities, welfare benefits agencies and others, help clients to apply for Discretionary Housing Payments and to pursue appeals against adverse benefits decisions including: ESA/PIP disability-related requests for mandatory reconsideration, JSA sanctions, Housing Benefit and tax credit determinations;  where necessary, they represent clients at tribunals or in court.

 We are open Monday to Friday.
